Rae Assistant Terms of Use

1. General

  1. These Terms govern the use of the Rae Assistant app (the "App"), published by Jakub Czarnowski (the "Publisher"). Contact: kontakt@minearium.org.
  2. By installing the App, you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
  3. The App is available on Google Play. Downloads, payments and refunds are also subject to Google Play terms.

2. What the App does

  1. The App organizes documents on your phone: it reads text and data from them, searches documents, detects duplicates and helps with tasks and due dates. It also lets you sign, merge and convert files.
  2. All data is processed on your phone. The App has no internet access.
  3. The AI assistant is optional. It requires a language model downloaded through Google Play. Without the model, the App works in basic mode.

3. Free version and subscription

  1. The basic version is free, with limits described in the App.
  2. Full features are available with a monthly subscription purchased and billed through Google Play. The price is shown in the App and on Google Play before purchase.
  3. The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it on Google Play. After cancellation it stays active until the end of the paid period.
  4. Refunds are handled by Google Play under its policies. This does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

4. AI assistant and data recognition

  1. Data read from documents and assistant answers are generated automatically and may contain mistakes. Before paying, signing or taking any other important action, check the data in the source document.
  2. The App does not provide legal, medical, tax or financial advice. Summaries and translations are for orientation only.
  3. You can report an answer you consider wrong or inappropriate in the App.

5. Your files

  1. The App does not delete or change your files without your confirmation.
  2. A file deleted in the App first goes to the App's trash and is permanently deleted after the period set in settings.
  3. A signed file stores pages as images. Its text cannot be selected or searched.
  4. You are responsible for backups of your files. We recommend making them regularly.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the App for unlawful purposes, including forging documents or other people's signatures.

7. Liability

  1. The Publisher makes every effort for the App to work correctly but does not guarantee that it is error-free.
  2. To the extent permitted by law, the Publisher is not liable for damage resulting from decisions based solely on automatically recognized data or assistant answers without checking the source document.
  3. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights under mandatory law.

8. Complaints and contact

Send feedback and complaints about the App to kontakt@minearium.org. We reply within 14 days. Payment and refund matters are handled on Google Play.

9. Changes

We announce changes in the App and on this page at least 14 days in advance. Changes do not apply to a subscription period already paid.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of Poland. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the law of the country where you live.
